Socialismens umulighed: Hayek versus Mises

I en lille kamp pr. proxy er her, hvordan hhv. Jörg Guido Hülsmann og Hans-Hermann Hoppe forklarer F.A. Hayek og Ludwig von Mises‘ argumenter imod socialisme.

F.A. Hayek

the impossibility of socialism stems from its inability to communicate dispersed knowledge… Information about the particular circumstances of time and place can never be centralized. It necessarily exists in dispersed form and yet it can be communicated by the market prices of capitalist societies. Only capitalism is thus capable of solving the knowledge problem.

Jörg Guido Hülsmann, Knowledge, Judgment, and the Use of Property, Review of Austrian Economics 10(1), s. 23ff

Ludwig von Mises

If there is no private property in land and other production factors, then there can alsobe no market prices for them. Hence, economic calculation, i.e., the comparison, inlight of current prices, of anticipated revenue, and expected cost expressed in terms ofa common medium of exchange—money—(thus permitting cardinal accounting operations),is literally impossible. Therefore, socialism’s fatal error is the absence of privateproperty in land and production factors, and, by implication, the absence of economic calculation.

Hans-Herman Hoppe, Socialism: A Property or Knowledge Problem?, Review of Austrian Economics 9(1), s. 143ff.

2 tanker om "Socialismens umulighed: Hayek versus Mises"

Same, same?
